Course Methodology
This course uses individual and group exercises to train participants on all crucial project management skills. The course also relies on using several case studies and presentations by participants, followed by discussions. In addition, this course incorporates pre- and post-testing.
Course Objectives
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
- Define project management frameworks, processes, and tools in compliance with the Project Management Institute (PMI) standards
- Develop a project strategy to ensure alignment with the organization's overall strategy
- Construct project diagrams, schedules, and plans and use different techniques, including critical path and critical chain methods, to analyze project schedules and plans in-depth and develop plans and roadmaps for agile projects
- Identify different methods for cost estimating and project budgeting and perform cash flow analysis
- Employ risk management plans and apply risk response strategies to ensure the successful implementation of a project.
- Manage time and cost deviations by applying 'earned value analysis
