Scenarios or forward Looking studies and methods are tools used for forward policy looking analysis. Such tools are used to manage complexity and help cope with uncertainties wherever in understanding society long term time frame and help us to design robust policies that can withstand the test of the time.


At the end of the course participants should be able to:

  • Apply Policy tools to help perceive the features in the present;
  • Build scenarios;
  • Learn methodologies to use in designing policy scenarios;
  • Learn to undertake foresight exercises;
  • Differentiate Explorative from Normative Forecasts.
